03-31-08 - UE professor to learn first-hand about Middle East Kim, an assistant professor of political science, will travel more than 6,000 miles to Tel Aviv, Israel, to participate with about 40 other professors in the Academic Fellowship on Terrorism from June 9-20. The program is sponsored by the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, a non-partisan Washington, D.C., policy institute founded in 2004. The fellowship is funded by donors and a grant from the U.S. State Department. Ahh, the FDD is a NEOCON think tank.
